As a young adult, I dealt with chronic illness caused by autoimmune and thyroid disease. It brought many painful symptoms and made it hard to live an everyday life. Regular medicine didn't help, and I suffered for six years. My medication worsened things, and I had to stay in the hospital for a week. Because of that, I lost trust in the medical field and sought natural solutions for self-healing. Thankfully, I found my way.
They say that "things happen for a reason," and indeed, my suffering guided me toward a healing path. Along this path, I discovered the power of acupuncture, food therapy, and the intricate nature of human uniqueness and complexities. This ignited a deep passion for assisting others, ultimately leading me to pursue Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine. The suffering I endured was a hidden blessing, fueling my spiritual strength and determination to study the principles of living in harmony and understanding the root causes of disease. It transformed my healing journey into a mission to heal others.
My approach to healing goes beyond mere temporary fixes and lifelong dependency on pills. Guided by ancient natural medicine in harmony with nature and your body, I adhere to the fundamental principles and sincerity - "do no harm." When you come to me with your concerns, I will thoroughly listen, evaluate your medical history, and strive to understand the root cause of your ailments.
If I can help, I will provide you with treatment recommendations that include various sessions of acupuncture treatments, supplementations, and food therapy modifications to eliminate inflammation, stagnation, and toxins and guide you toward healing and maintaining your well-being.
My goal is to alleviate your pain and unnecessary suffering and help you regain strength to experience actual vitality. Your health is wealth. Just like earning a college degree, building a home, maintaining a car, nurturing a relationship, or securing a good job, your health requires effort and dedication…so is your health; it’s your Life.

My Journey Towards Medicine Began in the Vibrant City of New York
In the heart of New York City, a bustling hub of diversity and energy, I found my calling in healing. The city's vibrancy and the daily struggles of its people inspired me to act and make a difference in their lives.
Determined, I embarked on a transformative journey at the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, specializing in traditional Chinese medicine. Through intensive study and practical training, I embraced the profound connection between body, mind, and spirit, earning my MSTOM degree. The ancient wisdom of Oriental Medicine guided my holistic approach to modern health challenges, igniting a lifelong passion for healing.
During my intensive study for the MSTOM (Masters of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine), I not only embraced the profound connection between body, mind, and spirit but had the extraordinary privilege of traveling across the states to study acupuncture lineage under respected mentors. This adventure beyond my schoolwork allowed me to delve into the historical roots and diverse methods of acupuncture, earning my degree with a rich, multifaceted understanding. The ancient wisdom of Oriental Medicine guided my holistic approach to modern health challenges, igniting a lifelong passion for healing.
My healing journey then took me to Florida, where I pursued a Doctorate in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine; I had the unparalleled privilege of studying with expert Chinese medicine medical doctors who traveled to teach their techniques related to internal medicine, skin disease, and skeletomuscular pain. This unique experience broadened my therapeutic approach and instilled robust confidence in my skills to heal patients with these disorders.
Continuing my journey and a life of surprises, I met my other half in New Jersey and got married. Drawn to the serene and vibrant Jersey Shore, specifically Manasquan, a small beach town, I sought to practice my knowledge and skills there. It was in this close-knit community that I opened my acupuncture practice.
Word quickly spread about the positive outcomes my patients experienced, and soon enough, families, teachers, firefighters, and police officers were seeking my acupuncture services.
My office became a hub of activity, bustling with enthusiastic patients committed to their healing journey. It was a privilege to witness their determination and the transformative power of acupuncture in their lives. Whether it was alleviating chronic pain, managing stress and anxiety, or promoting overall wellness, I was honored to be a part of their healing process.
Treating families meant I could impact multiple generations, from grandparents seeking relief from arthritis to parents looking for natural solutions for their children's health concerns. The trust and gratitude expressed by my patients were humbling and reinforced my passion for acupuncture and Oriental medicine.
The community held a special place in my heart. These dedicated individuals selflessly served others, often experiencing high-stress levels and physical demands in their professions. Providing them with the care and support they needed to improve their well-being was an honor I will always cherish.
A new chapter awaited me as I embarked on a journey to further expand my medical knowledge and skills. I was accepted into medical school at the American University of Integrative Sciences (AUIS), a prestigious institution known for its Integrative approach to medicine in Barbados. This exciting opportunity led me to the beautiful state of Georgia.
The verdant landscapes here deepen my connection to nature and invigorate my long-standing commitment to serving those in our community who struggle with pain and illnesses.
Settling in the picturesque town of Dacula, Georgia, I am on the cusp of opening my third acupuncture practice.
With a blend of gratitude and humility, I am eager to contribute to our community, recognizing my unique opportunity to make a profound difference. My approach to healing strives to harmonize traditional wisdom with modern advancements. The intention behind every treatment is personalized care, recognizing that each patient's journey to wellness is singular and significant.
These daily engagements with patients are not mere interactions but privileged moments that reinforce my calling. They are opportunities to make a tangible difference in the lives of individuals and, by extension, our community.
On a personal note, cooking is more than a hobby; it's a passion. I'm entranced by the way flavors combine and burst, creating not just a meal but an experience that can truly heal the soul. Gathering family and friends over diverse delicacies or sizzling BBQ isn't just about the food; it's about sharing stories that inspire happiness and well-being. It's about fostering an environment filled with love, healing, and positive energy that we all can enjoy.
Heal more, love more - this has become my mantra. My journey from the bustling streets of New York to the tranquil shores of Jersey and the welcoming arms of Georgia has been filled with growth, inspiration, and love. I eagerly await each new day in my clinic, ready to serve and transform lives.
With heartfelt commitment,
Fate Daou, L.Ac., Ph.D., DAOM
